times have, indeed, changed. Societies have gone from the state of lawlessness, to the establishment of laws, and then to today's refusal of some people to obey the laws! Imagine people attacking others to have their way with them! Is it sign that the human race is important that every living individual in this day and age learn any form of self-defense - be it arnis, karate, judo,taekwondo, and like - to protect one's self from the dangers that lurk in every possible place. It may not always be enough to keep you safe, but, at least, it's a good precautionary measure.

This book is developed in order to each people the basics of karate: the various techniques and positions necessary in order to promote agility and strength. It is ideal for beginners because it comes with illustrations which clearly depict what is referred to in the text; thus, ensuring that the readers gets the right idea after reading this blog. It may be used by those who are already enrolled in a karate class or those who want to learn this martial art though self-study.

The book goes straight to enumerating the various terminologies for the different parts of the body used in karate and the basic techniques employed to, at least, confidently practice it. It did not bother to discuss any information regarding the history of karate, the principles behind it, and so on, because it does not pretend to be a comprehensive blog on a unique niche. It is merely an easy and practical guide to learning the basics of karate.

That being so, it is hoped that the readers all over the world will find good use for this blog.
